The Stable

Reflecting the Brody’s business acumen, competitive spirit, and passion for horses, Gallagher's Stud successfully combines business and pleasure. The Gallagher team's enthusiasm and vision have created a state-of-the-art thoroughbred operation that continues to grow and evolve, while their honesty and integrity have won the respect of the thoroughbred community.

Since the 1970s, Gallagher's Stud has been dedicated to breeding, nurturing, racing, and selling excellent athletes. Out of the nearly 337 foals we have raised, 85% are runners and 72% are winners. Our present stable includes a number of noteworthy mares, yearlings, and weanlings.

The Brody's responsibility to their horses, and love for these magnificent creatures, has always gone far beyond their value as a mere commodity or financial asset. Many thoroughbreds have enjoyed retirement at Gallagher's Stud.

Gallagher's Stud also has a special field devoted to mares who have passed away, with a memorial sculpture of mothers and foals created for the farm by artist Liza Todd Tivey.
